Our Vision

To build, develop, and strengthen our community of practice through knowledge sharing, communication, and collaboration.

Join us in Shaping the Future of Restoration in Northern B.C.

This is more than a conference.

Alongside presentations and knowledge-sharing sessions, participants will have opportunities to engage in facilitated discussions, small-group coaching, and collaborative breakout sessions focused on advancing priority restoration topics for our region.

  • Learn from colleagues and partners through presentations, case studies, and panel discussions showcasing restoration projects and lessons learned across Northern B.C.

  • Participate in small-group discussions and coaching sessions to explore common challenges related to collaboration, engagement, project delivery, and professional growth.

  • Connect with practitioners working on topics such as terrestrial, aquatic, coastal, estuary, and watershed restoration, including restoration priorities important to Indigenous communities.

  • Collaborate with peers to begin developing resources that fill known knowledge and implementation gaps in Northern B.C.

  • Learn about existing tools with mini training sessions to help you get started.

  • Help strengthen a thriving northern restoration network and shape the next chapter of the Northern Restoration Community of Practice.

Register today and join us in Terrace on October 20-23, 2026, as we strengthen connections, share knowledge, and advance restoration across Northern British Columbia!

A few more important details

To help shape breakout sessions and technical working discussions, registrants will have an opportunity to share restoration topics and areas of interest in advance of the workshop. This will help ensure conversations focus on the issues that matter most to our community.

Remote participation is possible for viewing presentations. However, we encourage participants to attend in person to make the most of the networking, coaching, and collaborative working sessions. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Space is limited, so register now to secure your place. Because this workshop is offered at no cost, we ask that you only register if you're able to commit to attending — it helps us make sure catering and space go to everyone who wants a seat.

Travel stipends are available for participants from Indigenous communities. Please email for more information:
