Fuel Management Treatments In the early winter of 2010 a contract was awarded to Avison Management Services. The prescription was for spacing, pruning, and ladder fuel removal over 46.25 ha. The contract price per hectare was $900. The goal was similar to other previously treated units: prepare the stand for prescribed burning in order to reduce the fuel hazard and increase the productivity of the UWR.
