We will work in small break out groups of six participants. Three people in each group will bring forward a real-world challenge they are facing in their restoration practice. Participants will all take turns sharing experiences that relate and offering perspectives that bring the challenge into focus.
This is about coaching and sharing experiences, not solving others' challenges!
To make these sessions successful, its very important we all show up in a way that represents the values of our community of practice.
As with any of our COP initiatives, we ask that you come to these spaces prepared to:
Our shared values, that we defined as a community in Prince George in 2025, include:
By connecting with these values, and representing them through our actions, we can ensure we are uplifting our community members and encouraging them to grow and achieve through their own actions.
Important housekeeping notes: If you are joining from a personal Teams account (i.e., free account; not school or work), the "breakout room" functionality will not work for you!
The best help document we could find suggests that the workaround is to avoid logging in altogether. Please try joining without logging in to Teams rather than using a personal account. If you join this meeting from a personal account, we will not be able to assign you to a problem-solving group!
Depending on the email provider you sign up with, you might not get the email confirmation. Not to worry. Everyone who registers will be added to a calendar placeholder by our CoP Coordinator, where you will also be able to access the small group coaching template.
If your organization would like to be on the CoP organizing team, please get in touch with one of us through our organizations, or reach out to Mae directly.
