Kenney Dam Ecosystem Restoration

The Kenney Dam Wildfire Ecosystem Restoration Project involved a holistic assessment of the wildfire area to promote ecosystem function, stability and resiliency. The Wildfire represents an older wildfire (2004) and involved values not previously assessed and treated. A range of resource values will be included through the project to ensure a holistic approach to ecosystem restoration. This was a pilot project that reflects an integrated approach to wildfire restoration to include a range of biophysical values.
